The Role/
Main
Responsibilities:
|
- Travel to & from client sites to service our hire equipment
main generators, tower lights.
- Ensure all assigned services are completed in the company
timescale.
- Make sure relevant paperwork is completed and returned to
service offices.
- Maintain your assigned service vehicle is serviced and fully
stocked up with parts, etc.
- Carry out repairs on site when required.
- Provide 24 hour call out service on a Rota basis.
- If electrically qualified carry out basic installation on site
to 17th Edition regulations.

Essential Experience
Required:
|
- Candidates must have a full clean driving license
- A time served generator, electrical engineer, vehicle mechanic
or plant engineer.
- Must have strong knowledge on diesel engines (Mainly Perkins /
Iveco Engines)
- Good knowledge on AC / DC electrics.
- Be willing to work outside of hours when required.
Qualifications
- Mechanical & or electrical qualification (NVQ or C &
G)
- 17th Edition certification
ECS cards (CSCS)
- Other mechanical or electrical or
- H & S qualifications an advantage

Hours:
|
Basic 40 hours per week plus overtime & weekend works.
Monday - Friday 0800 - 5.00pm.

Remuneration:
|
|
Hourly paid subject to experience and overtime paid accordingly
based on time & half for weekday out of normal hours &
double time for Sundays.
|
