The Role/
Main
Responsibilities:
|
- Responsible for assigned deliveries, collections to & from
client sites & suppliers back to Service Centre.
- Responsible for loading & unloading of their vehicle
- Assure all movements are completed as instructed by TM.
- Carry out driver responsibilities including Walkround, defects,
securing of load, etc
- Responsibility for assigned vehicle.
- Be available for out of hours both week & weekend when
required.
- Some mechanical knowledge would be an advantage.

Essential Experience
Required:
|
- Candidates must have a full clean driving license qualified to
category C or C + E (I.E. Class 1 or Class 2)
- Hold a valid ADR (Class 3 packages)
- Hold a valid lorry mounted crane certificate
- Optional hold a valid forklift licence (Counterbalance (5t
& 13t & or Moffet)
- Have a good understanding of EEC Drivers hours and working time
regulations.
- Used both analogue & digital tachograph
- Have a good geographical knowledge of the UK

Hours:
|
Basic 40 hours per week plus overtime & weekend works
Monday - Friday 0800 - 5.00pm.
Maybe required to stay away from time to time subject to
works
|
|
Remuneration:
|
|
Hourly paid subject to experience and overtime paid accordingly
based on time & half for weekday out of normal hours &
double time for Sundays.
|
