PE Generators ensures a constant flow of water
06 October 2011
PE Generators have been awarded the contract for Anglian Water
Services Ltd. PE Generators have been awarded the framework for the
provision of generator hire & associated equipment for the
Ruthamford area and secondary supplier to another 3 areas. PE
Generators services will be required for emergency as well as
planned generator rental requirements.

Prior to signing the contract, the four month tendering process
included liaising with management teams and stringent 'due-
diligence visits' to PE Generators premises in order for Anglian
Water to assess and evaluate the company's capabilities and
strengths over competition. The agreement will last for 3 years
with an option to extend for a further 2 years upon mutual
agreement.
Anglian Water Services Ltd ("AWS") is the largest water and
wastewater company in England and Wales, covering 27,500 squared
kilometres. The AWS region includes water and wastewater treatment
works, reservoirs and networks stretching from the Humber in the
north to the Thames in the south, from Northampton in the west
across to the east coast. AWS also provides water services to the
Hartlepool area as Hartlepool Water.
Anglian Water Services believe that maintaining a strong
customer focus and continuous improvement in the delivery of
quality services is critical to the success of their business. It
requires the best performance from everyone working for Anglian
Water as well as its suppliers.
Craig Hawtin (General Sales Manager at PE
Generators) expressed his delight in winning the contract, "The
employees at PE Generators work extremely hard and it's great to
see their work being rewarded, it will be a pleasure working with
such a leading company."
